Exclusion of Liability

In a judgment delivered on May 12 1998 (Ref.: 312 O 85/98), the District Court (LG) of Hamburg determined that the insertion of a link can in certain circumstances lead to the person supplying this link becoming responsible in part for the contents of the site to which he or she has provided access, unless he or she has expressly excluded such responsibility:
